"Normal" mode

Press the MAX key again and the display will show
the maximum tensile force identified by the symbol.
Press the MAX key again and the display will show
the maximum compressive force identified by the
symbol.
Press the MAX key again and the word MAX disap-
pears from the display. The display indicates forces
applied in both directions as they are applied to the
transducer and maintains a running display.
