Installing the Printer Vertically or Horizontally
You can install the printer vertically (with the paper exit at the front)
or horizontally (with the paper exit on top).
Vertical installation
Adjusting the Roll Paper Near-end Sensor
To install the printer horizontally, follow the steps below to adjust the
position of the roll paper near-end sensor.
1.
Open the roll paper cover using the cover open lever.
2.
Loosen the screw with a coin or similar tool, and turn it at least 3
or 4 times.
3.
While pushing the lever into the holes, turn the tab until the lever
is set in the position shown in the illustration below.
