How to fix 'camera head swing'
Major causes
• Face detection fail
• Facial 'Image Grabber Module' is halted
When something is detected by front TOF sensor, face camera starts to discover user face for a while.
If Quattro fails to detect face or streaming images are not coming to recognition module, then start to
swing camera for searching face. Probably causes are as below,
Camera cable is disconnected or camera is dead. Very occasionally, Grabber process is jammed.
Too wide tilting angle can cause this symptoms, limits angle from +5 degree to +75 degree.
1. Try facial recognition via others' face (too much beard or strong back or side light could be one of
reason)
2. Still head moving.
3. Reboot Quattro by put out power (don't forget to cover front TOF sensor)
4. If symptoms continue, ask RMA
• Reconnecting cable is not easy, let Authrized Service Partner repair Quattro.
How to fix 'do not start recognition'
Major causes
• Front TOF sensor are not working or too close, too far
• Stuck in Enroll process
TOF sensor detects objects in front of itself in 3cm to appx. 1.5m
If object is closer than 3cm or farther than 1.5m, then Quattro and Duo do not start recognition.
Occasionally, dust that is covering TOF sensor can cause this problem.
And, after enroll via Quattro or Duo, user must finish enroll process by clicking 'finish' or 'cancel'
button of GUI and GUI shoud return back to initial screen of enroll process.
If not, recognition process is never been started.
1. Make sure front TOF sensor hole is clean, if not remove dust or things which is covering sensor.
2. Make sure that it's not in enroll process. ( finish by clicking 'x' icon or in process ; ID & Name steps...etc.)
3. If symptoms continue, ask RMA
