Balancing
the surround
sound

surround speakers relative to the front left!right

It may not be possibleto accurately adjust the
subwooferlevelusing this method. Youmay preferto
leave it on its default setting mid adjust it to your liking
later when playing sun'ound-sound sources.

Set the volume
to a moderate
level.
Press TEST TONE
(SHIFT
& CH
LEVEL) to
start the
test tone then
adjust
the
volume
to a suitable level.
The testtone playsthrough each speaker in turn:
• Fmnt left
• Center
• Front right
• Surround right
• Surmund left
• Subwoofer
Use the • and • buttons to adjust the
level of
a
speaker as the test tone plays.
For bestresults, sit in your main listening
position
when
doing this. You can adjust each speaker in the rmlge of
+/-10dB.
When you're
done,
press TEST TONE
(SHIFT & CH LEVEL) to turn
off the test
tone.
