If you're listening to a stereoFNIbroadcast, but find that
there is a lot of noise becauseof a weak signal, tU
switching to mono.
Press MONO
(SHIFT & S) to switch
between mono and stereo.
Wheu listening in mono, the 0 indicator lights iu tile
display.

Saving station presets
If you ofleu listen to a particular radio station, it's
convenieut to have the receiverstore the frequeucyfor
easy recall wheneveryou walt to listen to tha station.
This savesthe effort of manually tuning in each time.
This system cm_save up to 30 station presets.When
saving FMfrequencies, the receiveralso savesthe mono
setting (seeImpr'oviH,_ FM stereo sound above).
Tune to a station you want to memorize.
8oeListe*zDzg to the radio on page 21 for mote on how
to do this.
Press SYSTEM SETUR
Press 41 or I_ until you see ST. MEMORY
appear in the display.
Press ENTER.
Press 41 or I_ to select a station preset
number.
Mternatively,use the number buttons (use the >10
button for llumbers over 10).
Ifyou use the number buttons, you cm_skip step6.
Press ENTER again to save the station
preset.
Repeatthese steps to save up to 30 station presets
Listening to station presets

listening to a station with a couple of button presses.
Press TUNER/BAND
to switch to the
tuner.
Ifyou're using the front panel controls,pressTUNER/
BANDrepeatedlyto selectthe preset stati0u mode.
Use
I_1_1or I_1 to select the station
preset you want to listen to.
Mternatively,use tile uumber buttous (use the >10
button for lmmbet_ over10)
• If the systenl is left discolmectedfrom the ACpower
outlet for a lengthy period, the staiou presetswill be lost
and will have to be repmgr_mmd.
Listening
to other
components
Youmay have conuected your '1_ _ , V CR,or other
components to play through this system.Usethe TV/
AUXbuttou to selectyour external equipnmnt as the
source.
Press TV/AUX.
Pressrepeatedlyto switchbetween:

• DIGITAL input
• AUX analog inputs
