VARIOUS OPERATIONS
| To display the playing time of a particular track

Before beginning playback, or after stopping playback, press
PROGRAM
{PGM} button @ to set to the programmed play
mode. Each time [>I] button @ is pressed, the display will in-
dicate the track number and its times, beginning with the first.
{Tracks 22 and higher will not be displayed).
To repeat playback (repeat play)

® Press REPEAT button (9.
When pressed once, a single track will be repeated.
When
pressed twice, all tracks will be repeated.
In the all-track repeat mode, programmed play, random play will
be repeated.
To choose random selection of the playback order |

Press RANDOM
PLAY button @.
When all tracks of the loaded disc have been played, playback
will automatically stop.
| Performing fade-in / fade-out at a desired location

FADE-IN:
The sound begins at an audible level and gradually is increased
(fades in'') to the set volume.
FADE-OUT:
The sound begins at the set volume and gradually decreases ('fades
out') to an inaudible volume.
How to use fade-out:

During
playback,
press AUTO
FADER-OUT
button © at the
desired location. Fade-out will begin immediately, and when it
is completed the player will enter the pause mode.
How to use fade-in:

NOTE:
The fade-in and fade-out functions can be used not only during nor-
mal playback, but during programmed and random playback as well.
| Changing discs for continuous play (auto-eject play)

Press the AUTO EJECT button @. When pressed once, single-
track auto-eject play will be performed. When pressed twice,
normal auto-eject play will be performed.
Singie-track auto-eject play:
When the currently playing track completes playback, the disc tray
will open automatically, and the same track number on the other
disc will begin playback.
Auto-eject play:
When a disc completes its playback, it is automatically ejected (disc
tray opens).

When disc | completes its playback, disc tray | opens automati-
cally, and playback continues on disc II.
@ By replacing the disc
in tray | with another, playback of the new
disc in tray | will commence immediately upon the completion
of disc {i's playback.
At that time, the disc Il tray will open au-
tomatically and the disc there can be replaced with another for
continuous playback

Repeat play:

Press REPEAT button @ twice for playback of all tracks on the
disc.
@ When the disc completes its playback, press OPEN/CLOSE but-
ton @ and replace the disc with another for continuous playback.
Adjusting the sound volume (PD-T505 only)
