MONITORING DEVICE
FOR FUME DISCHARGE
(For Genus 23 MI)
These units are equipped with a device that monitors the discharge of the
fumes produced by combustion and automatically shuts off the supply of
gas to the main burner for approximately 12 minutes if it detects that the
fumes have been discharged into the room where the unit is installed. The
shutdown of the unit is immediately signalled by the yellow
"N" L.E.D. which remains on for the entire shutdown period.

This period lasts approximately 12 minutes, after which time
the unit automatically resets to normal operation mode.
IMPORTANT!
In the event this safety device shuts off the system a number of times
in succession , it is recommended that the unit be turned off and one of
our Authorised Service Centres be contacted to inspect both the unit and
the room to determine whether there is proper ventilation and discharge of
the combustion fumes.
