Start-up and use

Starting the appliance

! Before starting the appliance, follow the installation in-
struction (see Installation).
GB
! Before connecting the appliance, clean the compartments
and accessories well with lukewarm water and bicarbonate.
! The appliance comes with a motor protection control system
which makes the compressor start approximately 8 minutes
after being switched on. The compressor also starts each time
the power supply is cut off whether voluntarily or involuntarily
(blackout).
Freezer Сompartment
When the product is switched on (the ON/OFF button is
pressed for more than two seconds) the freezer compart-
ment is set to its default value of -18
0
C. We recommend
that the SUPER FREEZE function is set (the freezer display
shows the text "SF") in order to accelerate the cooling
process of the compartment; when the inside of the
compartment has reached its optimal temperature the func-
tion will be deactivated and the food may be placed inside.
Refrigerator Compartment
When the appliance is switched on the refrigerator
compartment is set to its default value of +5
recommend that the SUPER COOL function is set (the
refrigerator display shows the text "SC") in order to
accelerate the cooling process of the compartment.
After a few hours it will be cool enough for food to be placed
inside.

Using the refrigerator to its full potential

The Full No Frost system circulates cold air to collect humid-
ity and prevent ice and frost formation. The system maintains
an optimal humidity level in the compartment, preserving the
original quality of the food, preventing the food from sticking
together and making defrosting a thing of the past. Do not block
the aeration cells by placing food or containers in direct contact
with the refrigerating back panel. Please follow our instruc-
tions carefully on maximum storage time: any food, even the
freshest, will not remain edible for any extended amount of time.
- Do not place liquids in containers without covering them be-
cause this will lead to an increase in the level of moisture
within the refrigerator, causing the formation of frost.
– Remember to cool hot food before storing otherwise the
temperature inside the appliance will increase, causing
the compressor to work harder and use more energy.
– Contrary to popular belief, cooked foods are not
stored any longer than raw food.
– The refrigerator compartment is equipped with con-
venient, removable shelves which can be adjusted for
height using the shelf guides. This allows you to place
even large containers and foodstuffs in the refrigerator.
– Be careful not to place containers (plastic or glass),
food or other objects in direct contact with the cooling
area of the back wall of the refrigerator. This could harm
the food, increase energy consumption and facilitate the
formation of condensate (on food, containers, etc.).
- Activate the SUPER COOL function to lower the
temperature quickly. For example, when you place a
large number of new food items inside a fridge, the
internal temperature will rise slightly. The function
quickly cools the groceries by temporarily reducing the
temperature until it reaches the ideal level.

Fresh Box has a temperature by 3-5
an average temperature of a refrigerating com-
partment, and it's destined for such foodstuffs as
ham, cutlets, sausage. It's also recommended to
keep there perishables fresh-killed meat, fish, etc.,
freezing of which is undesirable since they will be
used in the near future. Fresh Box should not be
moved from its proper place.
Don't lean foodstuffs against the aeration cells.

Using the freezer to its full potential

• Use the FREEZER OPERATION and APPLIANCE ON/
OFF Knob to adjust the temperature (see Description).
• Do not re-freeze food that is defrosting or that has
already been defrosted. These foods must be cooked
and eaten (within 24 hours).
• Don't open the freezing compartment door in case of
power failure or unintentional defrosting when the
refrigerator is switched off. It will help to keep low
temperatures in the freezing compartment for a longer time.
• Use foodstuffs which are partly defrosted to cook a
dish by thermal treatment.
• Fresh food that needs to be frozen must not come into
contact with food that has already been defrosted. Fresh
food must be stored in the top FREEZER and STORAGE
compartment where the temperature drops below -18°C
and guarantees rapid freezing.
• Do not place glass bottles which contain liquids, and
which are corked or hermetically sealed in the freezer
because they could break.
• The maximum quantity of food that may be frozen daily
is indicated on the plate containing the technical
properties located on the bottom left side of the
refrigerator compartment (for example: Kg/ 24h-4).
• To freeze (if the freezer is already operating):
"SUPER FREEZE" mode. This mode provides
continuous work of the compressor until low
temperature needed for quick freezing of foodstuffs
is reached. After freezing of foodstuffs the
appliance switches to normal operation mode.
When "SUPER FREEZE" mode is on the
appliance automatically cleans the evaporator, at
that some time the compressor doesn't work.
ICE PARTY to bring a bottle of sparkling wine or
champagne to the right temperature. Place it in the
bucket
provided
inside
the
and
STORAGE compartment. The bucket may
be used to serve the bottle, keeping it cool.

Switching the appliance off

During cleaning and maintenance it is necessary to
disconnect the appliance from the electricity supply:
1. Set the FREEZER OPERATION and APPLIANCE
ON/OFF knob on Off.
2. Рull the plug out of the socket .
If this procedure is not followed, the alarm may
sound. This alarm does not indicate a malfunction.
To restore normal operation, it is sufficient to set
the FREEZER OPERATION and APPLIANCE ON/
OFF knob on the desired value. To disconnect the
appliance, follow point 1 and 2.

Cleaning the appliance

• The external and internal parts, as well as the
rubber seals may be cleaned using a sponge that
has been soaked in lukewarm water and bi-
carbonate of soda or neutral soap. Do not use sol-
vents, abrasive products, bleach or ammonia.
• The removable accessories may be soaked in
warm water and soap or dishwashing liquid. Rinse
and dry them carefully.

immediately with a neutral detergent.
Avoiding mould and unpleasant odours
• The appliance is manufactured with hygienic materi-
als which are odour free. In order to maintain an odour
free refrigerator and to prevent the formation of stains,
food must always be covered or sealed properly.
• If you want to switch the appliance off for an extend-
ed period of time, clean the inside and leave the doors
open.
FREEZER
Holiday function
To minimize energy usage when on holiday, it is
not necessary to switch the appliance off. The
appliance has a function which allows it to maintain
thetemperature of the refrigerator compartment
at approximately 12°C (which can also be used
to conserve make-up and beauty products). The
freezer temperature must be set to the minimum
value (1) in order to preserve the food.

Defrosting the appliance

This appliance defrosts automatically and the
water is drained to the back towards the drain pipe
installed for this purpose. Here, the heat produced
by the compressor will make it evaporate.

Replacing the light bulb

The lamp for lighting the interior of the appliance is
located at the back of the lamp box. Unscrew the
burnt lamp and replace it with another lamp of no
more than 15 Watt.
