INSTALLATION
After unpacking the appliances, check for any transport damage. In the event of
problems, contact the After-Sales Service. To prevent any damage, only remove the
appliance from its polystyrene foam packaging at the time of installation.
Preparing For Installation

This is a heavy product; the hood should only be lifted and installed by two or
more people.
2.
The minimum distance between the top of cooker and the bottom of the hood
must not be less than 650mm for a gas hob, and 550mm for an electric hob. If
the installation instructions for the cooker specify a greater distance between
cooker and hood, this distance must be observed.
Electrical Connection
1.
Make sure the power voltage specified on the appliance rating plate is the same
as the mains voltage. This information can be found inside the hood.
2.
Before reconnecting the hood circuit to the power supply and checking correct
operation, always make sure the power cable is correctly fitted and that it was
NOT crushed in its housing during installation. Make sure to have this operation
carried out by a qualified technician in accordance with all local codes and
standards.
