The Movement Lock™ works by holding your chair still while you transfer
in or out of it. This is particularly useful for people using a wheelchair or
those with other restricted mobility issues
1) To Lock: Inflate the air-cell to activate the Movement Lock™ by pressing the
'+' button on the battery hand-pump for approximately 8-10 seconds (or by
repeatedly squeezing the manual pump bulb) until the non-slip feet are firmly in
contact with the floor, stabilising the chair
2) To Unlock: Press the '-' button on the battery powered hand-pump (or by
pressing the air release valve on the manual hand pump) to retract the non-slip
feet and allow the chair to freewheel once more
The Movement Lock™ feet settings are adjustable dependent on the type of
floor surface. Before the first use or if you change the floor covering the
Movement Lock™ is used on, set up and adjustment is advised to ensure that
the non-slip feet are set at the correct level before activation.
Please refer to your local Ergochair distributor for advice and set up
chair
lock
The Movement Lock™ uses air
cell technology with the effect of
forcing the stabilising anti-slip
feet onto the floor, securing the
chair.
The air cell is inflated by means
of a battery operated Mini-pump
(or Manual Hand pump) which
can be situated almost anywhere
on the chair.
An air release button allows the
feet to retract and the chair to
become mobile once again on
the castors.
