Billing Meters
The X40 DC 30/40 provides accurate billing for all color and black &
white pages when programmed in black detection mode.
If jobs contain gray images, pages may be billed as color prints
when in black detection mode.
For mixed color and black/white only pages within jobs that contain
gray objects, use the Fiery DoocuColor 40 Max PPM K output
profile to ensure proper detection of black only pages.
Productivity will be affected when black detection is enabled due to
the detection of the black toner to process color mix.
