Chapter 1 - Product Introduction

1.1 Product Overview

The DCFG81000 switch is a 8-port Gigabit (10/100/1000Mbps) Ethernet Switch that

provides 8 Auto-Negotiation RJ45 ports. The switch is design for use in small to

medium office and home networks. The Switch adopts store-and-forward technology,

combining the dynamic memory allocation to effectively distribute the data to each

port when the switch is transmitting and receiving data. The LED's on top of the

switch show when the switch is connected to power and network.

1.2 Package Contents

 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch x 1

 User's Manual x 1

 DC Power Adapter (DC 5V,1A) x 1

 If any of these are missing or damaged, please contact your dealer

immediately. If possible, retain the carton including the original packing

material to repack the product in case there is a need to return it to

The top panel of the switch consists of a series of LED indicators shown as below.
