The Functions

The Functions settings provide access to range of detailed instrument parameters such
as Tuning, Split Point, Voices and Effects.

Press the [FUNCTION] button several
times until the desired item appears.
To decrease the Function Number by one, simul-
taneously hold down the [FUNCTION] button and
press the [-] button briefly. Simply pressing only
[+] or [-] button does not change the Function
Number.

Set the value by using the Number but-
tons or [+]/[-] buttons.

Press the [+] and [-] buttons simultaneously to
recall the default setting.
NOTE
• Press the [FUNCTION] button in the step 1 enables you to
use the VOICE/SONG/STYLE Category buttons as Num-
ber buttons.

To exit the Function settings, press one
of these buttons; [VOICE], [SONG] or
[STYLE].

Determines the pitch of the instrument in semitone incre-
ments.

Determines the fine tuning of the pitch of the entire instrument
in approx. 0.2Hz increments.

Determines the Split "point"—in other words, the key that sep-
arates the Auto Accompaniment range and Voice (page 17).

Adjusts the volume of keyboard performance when perform-
ing along with a Song or a Style.

Determines the octave range for the Voice.

Determines how much of the Voice's signal is sent to the Cho-
rus effect (see "Chorus Type" on page 22).

Determines the volume of the Style (page 18).

Determines how to play the chord in Accompaniment Section
when playing with a Style.

Determines the Key Signature when the Fingering Type is set
(No Key
to "Smart Chord." For example, if there are 2 sharps(#) on
Signature )
your music score, press the [+]/[-] buttons until "SP2" appears
on the display.

Determines the volume of the Song (page 16).

You can change a Song's melody Voice to any other desired
Voice as follows:
1. Select a Song (page 14).
2. Select the desired Voice (page 14).
3. Press the [FUNCTION] button repeatedly to call up
"MelodyVc."
4. Press the [+] button.
"SONG MELODY VOICE" appears in the display for a few
seconds, and the selected Voice in step 2 replaces the Song's
original melody Voice. Selecting another Song will cancel the
Melody Voice change.
