for loose

nections or shorts.

Make sure the master volume
contro!
is turned up at least part way and that
the swell shoe is firmly attached and de-
pressed. At least one tone volume lever
must be on, and the balance lever set to
favor that section of voices.

pull out the socket and reinsert
it to the correct voltage position.
