Installation: Wood Decks
Measure the overall dimensions of the deck. The vibrations radiate approximately 10-12 ft. (3-3.5 m) from
the transducer. For best results, it is recommended that one AW439 All-Weather™ Pro 2X be installed for

every 20 ft. by 20 ft. (6 m by 6 m) section of deck. For example, if you have a deck that is 10 ft. by 40 ft. (3 m
by 12 m), you would need to install two AW439 All-Weather™ Pro 2X Transducers.

decks.

When determining the actual mounting location(s), it is important to decide which type of mounting style
you want to use. There are two commonly used mounting styles: the joist mount or the bridge mount. See
