The freezer compartment
The four star freezer compartment is
suitable for storage of commercially
frozen food marked with the symbol
□ESI. The temperature reached of
—18°C is suitable for long term storage
of frozen foods; this means up to three
months, unless otherwise stated by the
manufacturer. It is also suitable for
freezing fresh foods.
Do not exceed the storage times shown
by the manufacturer on the commercially
frozen food packets.
Temperature control
The temperature within the freezer is
controlled by the same thermostat which
controls the temperature within the
fridge.
Normally, it is not necessary to adjust
the thermostat setting when freezing
fresh food. However, if you wish to fast
freeze food then the thermostat control
should be turned to the highest number,
about one hour before you want to freeze
your food.
REMEMBER THOUGH, THAT THE
FRIDGE COMPARTMENT
TEMPERATURE COULD DROP
BELOW 0°C.
