7. Start the machine
Before starting the machine check that:
• the appliance is plugged in.
• the water supply tap is turned on.
• the drain hose is correctly and securely positioned.
• the door and the detergent dispenser drawer are
closed.
To start the selected programme, push
START/PAUSE button; the corresponding light
will stop flashing and will remain lit until the end of
the programme.
During programme cycle the programme progress
display shows the cycle phase.
8. Modification of a running
washing programme
Once the programme has started, it only can be
modified by turning the programme selector dial to
O
"
" and afterwards the new programme can be
chosen.
The washing water remains in the tub, provided that
the machine does not reach the rinse phase, since,
in this case, the machine drains it automatically.
Start the new programme by pressing
START/PAUSE button.
9. Interrupting a programme
Depress
START/PAUSE button to interrupt a
running programme, the corresponding light will
begin flashing. Press this button again to re-start the
programme.
10. Opening the door after the
programme has started
Firstly, stop the machine by pressing
START/PAUSE button. Wait about one or two
minutes then the
can open the door.
If the door does not open , this means that the
temperature of the water is too high, that the water
level exceed the lower limit of the door (which could
cause overflowing) or that the drum is spinning.
If the door cannot be opened but you need to open it,
switch the machine off by turning the selector dial to
O
"
". After approximately one or two minutes the door
can be opened. (PAY ATTENTION TO THE WATER
LEVEL!).
11. At the end of the programme
The machine stops automatically.
Release of the lock is indicated when
comes on.
Turn the programme selector dial to position "
switch the machine off.
Remove the laundry from the drum and carefully
check that the drum is empty.
If you do not intend to put in another wash, turn off
the water tap. Leave the door open to prevent from
forming mildew and unpleasant smells.
ATTENTION!
If
RINSE HOLD button has been selected,
END light goes on to indicate that the water
must be drained before opening
the door. To drain the water follow these three steps:
A) Turn the programme selector dial to "
B) Select programmes "Q" (DRAIN) or "R" (SPIN).
• If programme "R" (SPIN) has been selected:
Use the spin speed selector dial to choose the
required speed.
