Š
Before attempting to program your module, you must first check if your vehicle is equipped with an OEM remote starter
and disable it. If the vehicle is equipped with an OEM remote starter, whether Active or Inactive, it MUST be temporarily disabled
or permanently disconnected depending on the vehicle. Please refer to the "OEM remote starter information" section of the guide for
additional details.
Note: In some cases, the module will program to the vehicle even if equipped with an OEM starter, but will prevent the aftermarket remote
start from functioning properly.
Š
Unless specified otherwise, all connectors are displayed from the wire side, with the exception of the OBDII diagnostic connector.
Š
If the vehicle is already equipped with an OEM remote starter, the installer must disconnect it before installing the DB3 module, otherwise it
will not program.
Š
No takeover feature is available on Push-to-Start (PTS) vehicles.
Š
Keyless and Smart Key will remain functional during remote start.
Š
Refer to "Vehicle connections" following the wiring diagram.
