Remove all calendar entries from the BlackBerry device
1.
In the BlackBerry® Device Manager, double-click the Backup and Restore icon.
2. Click Advanced.
3. In the Device Databases pane, click the Calendar database.
4. Click the left arrow icon.
5. In the Device File Databases pane, click the Calendar item.
6. Click Delete.
7. Click Yes.
8. Click Close.
Turn on calendar synchronization
1.
In the BlackBerry® Device Manager, double-click Synchronize.
2. On the Configuration tab, click Configure synch.
3. Select the Calendar check box.
4. Click OK.
5. Click Close.
Reset the BlackBerry device calendar on the BlackBerry device
Users must be running BlackBerry® Device Software version 4.0 or later to perform this task.
1.
Remove any incorrect or unwanted entries from the Microsoft® Outlook® calendar.
2. On the BlackBerry® device, in the calendar program, click Options.
3. Set the Wireless Synchronization field to No.
4. Click Save.
5. In the calendar program, click Options.
6. Set the Wireless Synchronization field to Yes.
7. Click Save.
The wireless synchronization of Microsoft Outlook entries to the BlackBerry device might take several minutes to
complete. The following factors impact the speed of the synchronization process:
•
number of calendar entries users have
•
number of attendees a meeting entry contains
•
number of calendar entries that are not synchronized correctly on the BlackBerry device
•
the size of the users' calendar folders in their Microsoft® Exchange mailboxes
Users can continue to use the Microsoft Outlook calendar or the BlackBerry device calendar during the wireless
calendar synchronization process.
