[1] Hood Pin: The installation of an aftermarket hood pin is only required on vehicles that are not equipped with a factory hood pin, or if
not supported in data.
[2] Tach: The tach wire is an optional connection required on some remote starters, which do not support a tach signal in D2D.
[3] RAP OFF Output: If the RAP OFF wire is not connected, the radio will turn off but some lights will remain on in the central console for
up to 20 minutes. Connect this wire to the driver door sense trigger to avoid this issue.
[4] Telematics: CAN High and Low connections ONLY required to provide vehicle status when using a Directed SmartStart System.
