3.11 EVENT MANAGEMEN T
Besides the monitoring staff actively monitors the running condition of the device, you can also view various events that happen to all the devices
through centralized event management. After configuring the forwarding, the related personnel will be immediately informed about the failure for
handling.

3.11.1 EVENT LIST

A flow window that presents events in a unified way. It can display the latest events in real time.
Operation Steps: from System Login  Event Management  Event List
The presented events include:
DCM Event: the information of some abnormal situations occur when the system acquires the power consumption of a device and the information of
event cleanup after recovery from abnormal situations.
Dynamic policy events: the information that system controls the power consumption of the devices.
Collector events: the information of abnormal situations occur when the system acquires the server performance and the information of event cleanup
after recovery from abnormal situations, e.g. errors in user name and password of a device, and etc.
Threshold events: performance threshold warning events due to set threshold and the information of event cleanup.
Includes the following functions:
To search events by event name, event type, start and end time and level.
For repeated event, its occurrence number will be automatically accumulated and merged into one event.
Double-click a single event, or select an event and click the "Details" button to view the details of the event.
Some significant events need to be forwarded to related person in charge to reminder them to pay attention to them or deal with them. The system
supports manual forwarding of the events to the person concerned. To manually forward an event or several events, click the "Forward" button and
configure the recipient(s) concerned, then the selected event(s) can be forwarded via email manually.
Delete one or more selected event(s).
3.11.2 FORWARDING CO NFIGURATION
Maintainers need to be immediately informed of serious failures. The system supports the function of automatic forwarding of events with specific type
and level. After selecting the event type, alarm level, and configuring the related information of message forwarding, the corresponding event system
will immediately forward the information to the configured person after the system receiving it.
