How to discover defective batteries (only size AAA/AA/C and D): Place the
batteries in the charger. Do not push the red button. When the battery is placed
inserted the red LED lights up and the charger detects the battery's status. If the
battery cannot be recharged the LED shuts off and the charger stops the charging.
Defective batteries are indicated in two ways:
a) The LED turns off;
b) The LED flashes.

Safety Guidelines

Do not expose the charger to rain or moisture. The charger is only suited for
indoor use and may only be used for charging of rechargeable batteries of type
Ni-Cd and Ni-MH. Attempts to charge other battery types can cause personal
injuries and the charger can be damaged. The charger is not suited for children
without supervision. Children should always be supervised to make sure that they
are not playing with the charger.
