Introduction:
Safety comes first when you're on the road, so an intuitive easy to use Bluetooth
kit is essential to reducing driver distraction and compliance with many cell phone
driving restriction laws. The A2DIY-GM3 works on select 2000-08 GM Class-II
radios with "CD/AUX" or "TAPE/AUX" button and compatible with virtually all
Bluetooth phones.
Warning: Radios with "TAPE/CD" or "TAPE/DISC" button
are not compatible with this module.
A smart remote and push button are standard, but users may add an optional USB
"Fast charge" kit to keep power hungry devices charged while on the road. Thanks
to the A2DIY-GM3 users keep the factory radio while enjoying Bluetooth features
only available on newer cars.

Installation:

Radio must be removed from dash (Vehicle specific radio removal instructions are
not part of this guide, but available upon request)

Press release tab on factory 12-pin plug and remove (See Fig. 1)
GM Class-II radio plugs

2. Connect installation harness 12-pin plug (See Fig. 2) to radio 12-pin
connector vacated in step 1

If radio does not have a 12-pin plug, 12-pin connector on installation
harness (See Fig.2) remains empty.
3. Connect installation harness yellow wire to battery (always on) supply
and black wire to ground. (we recommend grounding to radio chassis)
4. Connect installation harness
Red wire

Avoid connecting this wire to 12V constant supply (battery).
Tip: Accessory supply available on BROWN wire under steering column (Most
GM's) or on climate control harness or in driver side fuse panel.
Always use voltmeter to verify voltage and check for engine noise prior to
finalizing.
Accessory power is active when ignition is in "ACC" or "ON "positions.
