Bluetooth operation

Turn ignition to "ACC" or "ON"
1.
Turn radio ON.

Press radio "CD" button.

3. Launch audio device streaming application.
4. Set audio device initial volume to 80%, and raise radio volume knob
to set playback level. If distorted, lower audio device volume.
5. Use media button to change tracks, adjust device volume, pause etc.
6. Place test call or ask someone to call. Press remote Pause/Play to
answer/end call.
7. Ensure Smartphone call volume setting is at least 80% otherwise
callers may not be heard on car speaker.
8. To switch between CD or AUX playback and music stream press media
button Pause/Play
9. If correct operation is confirmed go ahead and reinstall radio.
Warning: Playlist/Track selection *NOT* possible from Jaguar radio
buttons. Use audio device built-in controls or wireless remote to access
and control audio files and applications,

Frequent ask questions & troubleshooting

What is the difference between the A2DIY-JAG98 and A2DIY-JAG98R?
The A2DIY-JAG98R connects to the radio and applicable to 1997*-99 XK and
XJ and 2000-06 XK and 2000-03 XJ Standard audio system.
Note: 2000+ vehicles with Premium Audio system (amplifier in trunk—
See Fig. 28) require our
A2DIY-JAG98. To be clear, 2000-03 XJ and
2000-06 XK premium audio (amplifier in trunk) requires the A2DIY-JAG98.
2. Can I pair more than one device to Bluetooth module?
YES;
pairing multiple devices is possible, however only one device can
connect at a time. Disconnect first device to allow pairing to another device.
3. Will I be able to use both music and Navigation apps at the same time?
YES!
When streaming and Navigating (e.g., Waze etc.); music will mute
during navigation guidance and return to previous state when guidance
ends. If a call is made or received, both Navigation guidance and streaming
are muted until call is ended.
