Once disconnected, cables should resemble Fig. 2. Female connector

(right) – leads to cd changer, male plug (left) – leads to amplifier

(premium audio system) or radio (standard audio system)

Connect factory male plug to audio adapter female connector by

Connecting audio adapter right angle male plug to CD changer female

connector (See Fig. 2).

Note: Audio adapter right angle male plug (See Fig. 3b) does not have

an alignment marker. To connect, simply align imaginary triangle

marker seen in Fig. 3b to marker on factory female connector (See

Fig. 2)

Return cables to holding tab

Connect supplied 3.5mm audio cable (See Fig. 4) to audio adapter

3.5mm jack (See Fig. 3A)

Proceed to next step (routing audio cable).

Noteworthy:

They are multiple Ai-Net type plugs/connectors at the audio rack and more

so in vehicles with premium sound (e.g., Amplifier, Navigation etc.). In

premium audio systems, audio adapter (See Fig. 3) connects between CD

changer and amplifier and in standard systems; between CD changer and

radio.

To minimize connecting errors, locate single black cable emerging

from CD auto changer --- seen in Fig. 2 (right). This is the cable with

which you will be working. Connecting audio adapter to something other

than CD auto changer plug will result in volume issues, missing power to

radio etc.
