Q: Can a cold vial be inserted into WARMING CRADLE
A: A cold vial (standard refrigeration temperature 2°C to 8°C) may be
inserted into WARMING CRADLE. This may cause the reservoir
temperature to drop slightly. WARMING CRADLE will reheat the
reservoirs to the preset temperature of 44°C
Q: What happens if the temperatures of the vial reservoirs are
different from each other?
A: A difference in vial reservoir temperatures will not be indicated on
the display. If the difference in temperature between the sensors
exceeds 2°C for longer than 5 minutes, the LCD will show "Service
Required Immediately" accompanied by steady RED LEDs and a loud
continuous beep. If the reservoir temperature exceeds the preset
±
temperature of 44°C
alarm sequence will occur and WARMING CRADLE should
be serviced.
Q: How is WARMING CRADLE turned off?
A: There is no on/off switch. WARMING CRADLE is designed to re-
main plugged in at all times. There is no automatic shut-off feature.
To remove power from WARMING CRADLE, unplug it.
Q: Can vials be warmed at a different temperature for a
different amount of time?
A: WARMING CRADLE is preset for a 15-minute warming cycle
that warms vials to 44°C
Q: Can a vial be placed in the reservoir before the preheating
cycle has completed?
A: The preheating cycle should be allowed to complete to ensure that
the preset temperature of 44°C
placed in the vial reservoir. The timer will not start if a vial is placed
in the vial reservoir before the preheating cycle is complete.
