4. Installation:
- Placing the Keplers under the audio device:
1. Ensure that the threaded pin "C" is screwed in manually until resistance is felt.
2. Keplers placed under the device do not need to have the counter nut "D" screwed in.
3. Screw the adjusting nut "E" without using too much force.
CAUTION!
Adjusting nut should not be tightened completely - it should not touch the black
top surface of the Kepler body.
4. For the better sound effect, place Keplers directly under the bottom surface of the device,
not under its feet.
5. Replacable threaded pins of different heights allow the Kepler to be adjusted to the height of
the feet of the device.
CAUTION!
If you want to use a pin with a different height than provided in the set, make
sure you use a pin made of A2 stainless steel in accordance with DIN913/ISO4026 standard
(flat end of pin).
- Underlay methods:
The attenuation of the vibrations of the audio device chassis is a complex process,
individual for each enclosure. Depending on whether the chassis is made of wood or metal,
whether it is made of steel or aluminum, its shape, dimensions, as well as the layout of the
elements inside and the position of the transformer, will affect the distribution of its resonances
and subtle differences in sound, depending on the way it was put on Keplers.
In order to obtain the best sound results, we recommend:
1. Try and compare the sound of setting the device on the leveling nuts "E" and without the
nuts - directly on the pins "C".
2. In some cases, you will achieve better sound results by placing Kepler directly below the
place where the transformer is located. In other cases, it may turn out that the chassis reacts
better to dampening when the Keplers are placed away from the transformer.
3. If you use a set of 3 Keplers, try placing them not only in an equilateral triangle, but also in
triangles with different side lengths. Similarly, if you are using a set of 4 Keplers, do not set
them just in a rectangle, try out the irregular arrangement.
4. If you use 3 Keplers, not always 2 of them should be placed closer to the front of the device.
5. We encourage you to try with different settings - the differences in the sound will be heard
the more, the more accurate and transparent your audio system will be.
6. Treat your audio system as a whole, not single devices - sometimes Keplers placed under the
source (CD/DVD) will give more improvement in sounding than placed under the amplifier.
In another audio system it can be exactly the opposite.

loudspeaker, use the help of a second person to place the speakers vertically. Make sure you do
not place speakers on the Kepler at an angle (see figure on page 5). The stresses created at this
point may result in damage to the Kepler dampening layers.
