CRIMPING INSTRUCTIONS
Lubrication of the cone
must be done prior using
for the fi rst time.

Place the die set and hose
and fi tting loosely in the
cone insert.
Adjust Micrometer
per hose and fi tting
specifi cation.
Lubricate die fi ngers, all
contact surfaces and die
cones.
Use care to be certain
that the die halves do not
overlap.
Slide the Pusher onto the stud
on the hydraulic ram and press
and hold the start switch until
the motor shuts off.

Correct alignment of the
hose and fi tting in the die
set is shown. Reference
crimp specifi cations for fi t-
ting locations.
Place the Pusher Plate on
top of the die set.
Check the fi nished crimp
diameter to be certain that it is
within the crimp specifi cation
limits.
