MAINTENANCE

HOW DO I MAINTAIN MY CHIPPER?

Regular maintenance is the way to ensure the best performance and long

life of your machine. Please refer to the OPC566E Operations Manual for in-

depth maintenance procedures.

WARNING:

BEFORE PERFORMING ANY MAINTENANCE PROCEDURE

OR INSPECTION, STOP THE ENGINE, WAIT FIVE MINUTES TO ALLOW

ALL PARTS TO COOL. DISCONNECT THE SPARK PLUG WIRE, KEEPING IT

AWAY FROM THE SPARK PLUG. DISCONNECT THE BATTERY TERMINALS

(ELECTRIC START ONLY).

CHECK ENGINE OIL LEVEL

CHECK GENERAL EQUIPMENT

CONDITION

CHECK WEDGE FOR SHARPNESS

CHECK BELTS

CHECK TIRE PRESSURE

CLEAN ENGINE EXTERIOR AND

COOLING

CHANGE ENGINE OIL

REPLACE AIR FILTER

REPLACE SPARK PLUG
