2. To connect to the trailer, use the following wiring:
Tautliner or Pantech
•
When installing on a Tautliner or Pantech, connect to the VCC+ (Park lights +) wire which is usually
Brown with most trailers. The power source can be 9-40volts.
•
Black - Connect to the GND (Park lights -) wire which is generally White with most trailers. Check to see
if the trailer uses the wiring loom or chassis for earth and connect to that source.
•
White – Connect to a positive feed such as the VCC+ (Park lights +). This will wake the tracker as soon as
the lights are on rather than wait for movement detection as the trailer is towed. It will also keep the
tracker awake when the trailer is stationary with the lights on.
Fridge pantech
•
When installing on a Fridge Pantech, or any other trailer where there is a battery installed, connect to a
VCC+ (Constant power +) wire which can be 9-40volts.
•
Black - Connect to the GND (Earth) wire of the same unit where the constant power is gained.
•
White – Connect to the IGN source that is active when the motor is running. This will generally be found
inside the control box.
