Requirements
Before connecting to AC mains power, make
sure that the mechanical installation, cooling
requirements, wiring, and controls are all set to
the configuration needed for your application.
Failure to do so could result in damage to the
unit or to other components in the system.
2.1
AC Mains
This amplifier uses a universal Switch Mode
Power Supply (SMPS) with active Power Factor
Correction (PFC). It is compatible with nominal
AC mains voltage from 100 to 240VAC, 50-
60Hz.
Use only the provided AC cord to connect to AC
mains.
All MA models have a fixed, non-defeatable
warm-up delay of about three seconds, to
protect against excessive in-rush current
when first powered up. Power consumption is
indicated on the back panel label near the AC
inlet. To reduce the risk of ground loop hum,
all sound system ground references should
