FRONT PANEL CONTROLS
1. POWER SWITCH
Depressing
the power switch turns on
the CD player. The blue LED indicator
above the power switch will glow blue.
Note:
All
connectors
must
be
completed
and AC Selector
should
be set to correct
voltage
before
plugging
in power
cord and turning
the power on.

2. OPEN / CLOSE
By pressing the OPEN/CLOSE
button
the disc drawer will open.
Press it
again will close
the drawer.
If the
drawer
is opened
while
a disc
is
playing,
the disc will stop and the
drawer will open. An opened drawer
can
also
be closed
by pressing
PLAY/PAUSE
button
or by gently
pushing
the
drawer
inward.
If the
OPEN/CLOSE
button is pushed after
programming
the
player,
all
programming will be erased.

When the disc drawer
is open, the
window will display "OPEN"

For
CD,
when
you
press
OPEN/
CLOSE
button
to close disc drawer,
the window will display "CLOSE"
for
around
one
second
then
display
"LOAD" and it will take around 5 to 20
sec to load all information from disc to
the memory of XCD. Once all data are
loaded, the display
will show "CD",
numbers of tracks (show "##" under
"TRK") inside the disc and total time
on the disc ("##: ##" = "Minutes":
"Sec")

For MP3, when
you
press
OPEN/
CLOSE button
to close disc drawer,
the window will display "CLOSE"
for
around
one
second
then
display
"LOAD" and it will take around 20 to 30
sec to load all information from disc to
the memory of XCD. Once all data are
loaded, the display will show "MP3",
numbers of tracks (show "###" under

"TRK")
inside the disc and total time
on the disc ("##: ##" = "Minutes":
"Sec"). For MP3 discs without data of
time of each track, the display of total
time on the disc will be "00:00" (For
MP3 discs
you
generated
yourself
from your computer will be the case.)

PLAY/PAUSE
Place
CD or MP3
discs
into
the
opened drawer with the label facing
up. Press the
PLAY/PAUSE button
or
OPEN/CLOSE
button
will both close
the
drawer
and
pass
through
the
procedure
described
on above item
"2.0PEN/CLOSE".
When all data are
loaded, you can press PLAY/PAUSE
button
and begin playback. Or you can
use Track or TITLE Up/ Down buttons
(10)
together
with
TRACK/TITLE
selecting
button
(8) to go to the
TRACK you selected
and then press
PLAY/PAUSE
button
and
begin
playback.
For CD, you will only be able
to select
"TRACK"
as there
is no
TITLE
defined
in CD.
Playback will stop when STOP button
is pressed
or when
the disc
has
reached
the end. While the disc is
playing,
press
the
PLAY/PAUSE
button to suspend
playback
(PAUSE).
Press
the
PLAY/PAUSE
button again to resume
playback.
XCD will remember track # of previous
MP3 disc you played even after your
move MP3 disc out of the drawer and
put it back again or turned power off
and on. This feature is designed
for
easier
to listen
a long
MP3 disc
continuously
time to time. This feature
is not designed for CD as normally CD
is much shorter the total playing time
and can be selected easily. For CD,
however, to resume the
playback track
which
you have
stopped
previously
with STOP button,
just simply press
PLAY/PAUSE button again
and it will
start playing
from the track.
