Using the foot stirrup

ADVANCE recommend the exclusive use

of the optional AXESS 4 stirrup: it was

intended for this harness and is the only

version to feature in LTF 91/09 testing.

Its attachment near the seatboard and the

elastic retainers make it impossible for this

component to interfere with a reserve

opening. The AXESS 4 manual gives

detailed fitting instructions.

When folding the AXESS 4 take care not to

bend the back unnecessarily. First lie all

the straps inside the harness, fold both

SAS-TEC side panels inwards then fold

the seat board over. Lay the harness, flat

side of the back section uppermost, in the

rucksack on top of your folded paraglider.

Close the rucksack as usual. The Airbag

compresses very small.
