Standard SC / FC /ST connector, TX indicates input, RX indicates output.

Don't stare at optical module TX port!!!
2.2.4 Time Slots Settings
Time slot settings switch for FE1 Fiber Modem is located at the bottom of
the device. On the bottom board of FE1 Fiber Modem, there is a quadrate
slot. Under the slot, there are four 8-bit Dips (totally 32 bits) for setting E1
time slots. From left to right NO.0~NO.31 bit corresponding E1 TS0~TS31,
ON when opening up the corresponding time slot, OFF when closed.
Settings of time slot defined as below table (see the Chapter 5 Appendix
Table in detail):
