3.4 – Channel Select Screen
The Channel Select screen provides the user a method to select which available audio stream on a Dante network for
each individual output. This is also the initial screen the unD32 will show after power up. Figure 7 below shows a
representative of it.

The top line shows the selected channel number (1 – 32) and name of the audio stream that the selected channel is
currently receiving from the Dante audio network. The channel number is always shown as two digits so channels less
than 10 will have a preceding '0'. Only the first 10 characters of the stream name will be visible. If no assignment has
been made, "NONE" is shown in this field.
The bottom line shows the signal level of the selected audio channel. The level meter provides an approximate analog
output level and is displayed as an extending horizontal bar. If no bar is shown, the output level is -40dB or below,
while a bar that extends up to the right-hand edge of the screen represents +20dB full scale output and possibly
clipping.
While in the Channel Select screen, pressing either the Left or the Right button will cause the cursor to move between
the first position of the channel number and channel name fields. To select a Dante audio channel the cursor should be
moved to the first position of the channel name field.
Once in the Channel Name field, the Up or Down buttons can be used to cycle through all the available audio channels
in the Dante network that can be received by the unD32. Once the desired channel to receive has been found, the
channel selection can be finalized by pressing the Enter button while the desired audio channel is displayed. No
channel is selected until the Enter button is pressed. The "None" option may also be selected to select no audio for a
channel.
To transition to another channel or to the Volume Select screen the cursor needs to be in the first character of the
Output Channel field. Pressing either the Left or Right buttons will accomplish this.
