4. On a through-the-wall installation with a

Adapter/Flue Extension and/or the Wide Fin-

ishing Band to the required width to be covered.

Secure the USP pipe to the Pipe Adapter/Flue

Extension with the 3 metal screws (supplied).

Ensure the Wide Finishing Band overlaps the

male end of the USP pipe and overlaps snug to

the beveled edge of the ASE. See Figure 2A.

ATTENTION!

The orientation of all USP Chimney Connector

components must be with the dimpled male end

(outer pipe) pointing up, towards the chimney

and the female end with pilot holes toward the

appliance. See diagram below.

are maintained.
