Power Connection
Connect the power cord to the power input. Be sure the power
voltage switch is in the correct position for your local voltage
mains supply. Then plug the power cord directly into a wall outlet.
Connecting the power cord to the AC outlets built-in to some
AV receivers is not recommended. They may not be able to provide
the level of current required by the Korners Sub.

Dip Freq & Dip Gain
Dip Freq
Most room settings and subwoofer installations result in a large
peak in the system frequency response due to standing waves in
the room. We have included a simple adjustment mechanism to
help alleviate this condition. If after initial installation and listening,
you feel there is a prominence of low frequency energy that cannot
be adjusted for using the level or polarity controls, then there is likely

a peak to correct for. Peaks in a room generally fall between 50 and
90 Hz. Start by setting the Dip gain to mid position (-4 dB). Now, while
playing program material, slowly change the Dip Frequency knob from
50 to 90 Hz, and listen to where the energy prominence start to go
away. When you reach this frequency, leave the Dip Frequency knob at
that position. Next, move the Dip Level knob from lower to higher levels,
until the program material sounds the best. After you have determined
that best position, just leave the controls where they are. If using two
subwoofers together and attached with the Korners Sub Connector, set
one subwoofer first, and then copy over the settings to the other.

As a starting point, set the crossover control on the Korners Sub about
10Hz higher than the lowest limit of your main speakers' bass
frequency response. In the case of our Korners speaker line, initially set
to 130 Hz. Tune the crossover setting by ear to blend with your main
speakers. The optimal setting of the crossover control will depend on
placement of the speaker and your personal preference.
Single or Dual Sub Switch
The default is in the Single position. Set to Dual when using two Korners
Subs. Use the optional Korners Sub Connector to join two Korners Subs
physically together. The Korners Sub Connector can be purchased at
an authorized AudioXperts dealer.
Phase
Phase Switch

0 (normal) or 180 (inverted) for the Subwoofer. Set this
switch to deliver the fullest, most dynamic bass. The effect of phase is
most audible with a repeating bass line.
