Switch ON: Slide the button on the bottom to your left
while facing the sticker to power RightoSleeve ON.
Central LED on top of the black touch button will turn on
with a long beep sound.
Switch OFF: Slide the button to your right to turn off the
device.
Battery Low Indication: When battery is low, BAT LED
starts blinking.
Battery Charging: When USB cable/USB Charger is
connected to USB port of the RightoSleeve, BAT LED
will be continuously ON and RightoSleeve will charge in
3 hours.
Scan Barcode: Momentarily Touch the black Button of
RightoSleeve to scan barcodes. As soon as button is
touched, device emits red beam.
Bluetooth Connection: RightoSleeve can get
connected to the Mobile over Bluetooth HID (Human
Interface Devices like keyboard)
To pair, go to Bluetooth settings menu of
Mobile and turn ON Bluetooth. Search
for devices and pair with 'mRighto-HID-xxxx'.
Auto Connection:RightoSleeve gets automatically
connected to the already paired Mobile phone
When RightoSleeve is connected to the mobile, the
DATA LED will turn ON.
HID: RightoSleeve sends barcode data at the
location of curser in the Mobile at a
speed of 20ms/character. Depending upon the
length of barcode, the speed of scanning should
be adjusted.
SPP: The host device shall require an interface
app such as 'BluetoothSpp' to display or store the
barcodes. The Bluetooth connection with paired
RightoSleeve shall take place
through the software App.
Switching between HID, SPP: RightoSleeve has
default factory mode as HID.
User can switch the device between HID and SPP
modes by scanning the below provided barcodes.
After a successful switch, the device will glow all 3
LEDs and sound a long beep before entering into
the newly selected mode.
PRECAUTIONS
Periodically charge the device while in use and also
when not is use.
Avoid scratches or dust formation on the scan window.
RightoSleeve should be switched off during
transportation.
Do not incinerate(burn) RightoSleeve or the battery
inside. It may harm the environment or explode. Keep
the device away from extreme heat.
Do not frequently disconnect the charging connection
from RightoSleeve as it reduces the battery life of
RightoSleeve.
WARRANTY
The warranty period for Dataserve RightoSleeve
universal scanner is 12 months. Under the warranty
period any defect in the product will be replaced by
Dataserve Pune at cost. To and fro shipping cost will
be to customers account.
No warranty on Bluetooth dongle or the mounting
arrangement.
Warranty period for the USB cable, charger and
internal battery is six months.
Any damage due to intentional misuse, abuse or
subjecting the product to inputs outside the
specifications will not be covered under the warranty.
Warranty shall be governed by law of state of India.
Any dispute subject to Pune jurisdiction.
