3. Design Principles

The 75F system was designed to have a WRM and a Smart Damper in every room being controlled by the CCU. These components all communicate with the
CCU which acts as the local brains for the system creating a series of personal MicroZones which are smaller than traditional zone control systems. Each WRM
establishes a MicroZone and controls up to two smart dampers.
In spaces where there are more than two diffusers, the designer has a choice to either break the room up into multiple zones, or merge multiple sensors into
one zone. To guide this decision, find out if the occupants have different temperature preferences in the space. If occupant desired temperatures are 1 or 2°
F apart from one set of diffusers to the other, you might consider breaking this into two zones so that each occupant can have their own desired temperature
(see Zones 1 & 2, below). This technique is limited to the thermal limits of the space, however. Place the WRMs on an interior wall location that best
represents the desired temperature locations. If desired temperatures are the same from all diffusers, merge the zone as in Zone 9, below by pairing an
additional WRM in the same room.
