Folding The Planter:

Prior to folding the planter, move to a level surface that pro-

vides clearance needed to fold the planter.

1) Put the tractor in Park and install the flex lock pin (1)

(installed in the inner wing pivot assembly).

2) Remove the wing lock pin (2) if installed.

Note: To prevent machine damage, ensure that the inner wing

pins are in and the outer wing pins are out during folding and

unfolding.

3) Use the tractor's 3-point hitch to raise the planter until all

row units clear the ground.

4) Use the hydraulic circuit to fully raise the lift-assist circuit (if

present).

5) Slowly move the Fold hydraulic circuit lever to Retract.

Observe the fold process until both wings reach the fully

folded position.

6) Set the tractor's hydraulic lever to Neutral to hold the

planter in the Fold position.

Unfolding The Planter:

1) Put the tractor in Park and verify that the wing lock pins are

not installed in the lower holes.

2) Using the tractor's 3-point hitch, raise the planter so that the

row units are off the ground if not already done.

3) Slowly move the Fold hydraulic circuit lever to Extend.

Observe the unfolding process until both wings reach the fully

unfolded position.

4) Set the tractor's hydraulic lever to Neutral to hold the

planter in the Unfolded position.

Transport The Planter:

When transporting the planter more than a short distance, do

not rely solely on the lift-assist cylinders to keep the machine

raised. Install the transport locks per the following instructions:

1) Fully raise the planter using the 3-point arms followed by

the lift-assist cylinders.

2) Remove any height adjusting blocks (3) from the lift-assist

cylinders.

3) Install the transport locks (4) onto the cylinder rods, secur-

ing them with the same pins used for storage.

4) Lower the lift-assist cylinders onto the transport locks to

relieve hydraulic pressure while leaving the 3-point arms

raised.
