INSTALLATION GUIDE
To ensure optimal performance, please read these instructions
carefully prior to installation.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
∫ This system MUST be mounted vertically
∫ Installation must be done by a licensed plumber.
Unauthorised installation will void warranty
∫ The top and front unit doors must have clearance
to allow access for annual filter cartridge
replacements and service
∫ Must be operated under recommended pressure
HINTS & TIPS
This system comes as a complete system with all fittings. All you will need to complete the
installation is any piping to connect up the system to the household which is classed as a
standard installation
∫ The system comes with a bypass, to allow the
water to bypass the cartridges if need be.
∫
The filter system has to be connected to the
mains to the property before it branches off to the
different outlets to make sure everything is
filtered.
∫ Whenever possible, avoid including any
reticulation systems on this filter system as this
will cause pressure loss in the property when
they are activated.
∫ The best place to secure the filter is on an
outside wall in a location that is aesthetically
acceptable to the customer.
∫ If you can find the first point of entry of the
mains into the property that is most likely the
best spot to put the filter and best place to cut
the mains and divert it through the filter also.

WARNING!
DO NOT USE THREAD SEALANTS. Under
no circumstances should a thread
sealant be used on water filter housing.
Only the use of thread tape is
permitted. If thread sealants are used,
all warranty will be void
∫ If the property is a single storey and the pipes
run through a roof space, it might be easiest a
neatest to cut the main up there and divert it
down into the garage and secure the unit to the
garage wall. Obviously then run the outlet back up
into the roof space. Or you could drop the pipes
through the eves and unto an outside wall if
possible.
∫ A lot of the time you will need to cut the main
by the water meter as that may be your only visual
point of where the mains may be. If the location of
the filter is not near the water meter, and there
are no obstacles such as poured concrete or walls
etc, you will need to dig a trench to bury some poly
pipe under ground and connect the filter to the
water supply.
∫ The last option is to install the unit beside the
water meter on a stand on the ground.
