Cleaning the Fireplace
Switch off the power to the fireplace and allow it to cool before cleaning.
Use a soft damp (not wet) cloth.
Household Glass Cleaner can be used on the Fire Glass.
Trouble Shooting Guide
If fireplace is making noise:
1. Switch off the fireplace and unplug cord.
2. Remove face or stone frame from the fireplace.
3. Remove fireplace from wall mounting plate and stand it on a work table.
4. Remove Philips head screws from the bottom of fireplace to access the
flame rod & light bulbs.
5. Plug in fireplace and turn the flame on.
6. Listen for noise with flame on.
7. If the noise is found to be coming from the aluminium strips scratching
against back panel, simply cut the strips shorter with scissors.
8. If the noise is found to be coming from the spin axis rod, it would be that the
rod is not straight. If so, remove rod and straighten it.
