HIGHSIDER™ bar end mirror „EVO"
MOuntInG InStRuCtIOnS
This HIGHSIDER™ mirror "EVO" is suitable for the right side and left side. You might need to change the side of the
mounting kit as explained on step 2. The "EVO" mirror fit on most common handle bars with an inner diameter of 12 mm
to 21 mm (that mean most Aluminium and steel handle bars with an outer diameter of 7/8" (22 mm) to 1" (25,4 mm).
Scope of delivery:
Mirror with stem (C)
Alu-adapter (D)
Mounting kit with two clamp sleeves (E1) + (E2)
Centering sleeves (K1), (K2), (K3)
Step 1:
Unpack the mirror carefully.
Unscrew the central Allen screw (F) and the 5 small Allen screws (A) and replace the transport protection foil (b)
between the mirror stem (C) and the Alu-adapter (D).

Step 2:
Decide now, for which side on your bike you need to mount the mirror. Mount the Alu-adapter (D) on the right or on
the left side of the mirror stem (C) and fix it tight with the 5 Allen screws (A).

Step 3:
Choose the correct clamp sleeve (E1) (E2) and centering sleeve (K1) (K2) (K3) for your handle bar.

1. Inner handle bar diameters from 12 mm to max. 13,9 mm: Use sleeve (E1).
2. Inner handle bar diameters from 14 mm to max. 15,9 mm: Use sleeve (E1)+(K1).
3. Inner handle bar diameters from 16 mm to max. 17,9 mm: Use sleeve (E1)+(E2).
4. Inner handle bar diameters from 18 mm to max. 20,9 mm: Use sleeve (E1)+(E2)+(K2).
5. Inner handle bar diameter 21 mm: Use sleeve (E1)+(E2)+(K3).

Step 4:
Assemble the clamp sleeves (E1) (E2) and where necessary the suitable centering sleeve (K1) (K2) (K3) on central
screw (F) according to pic. 6+7.
Pre-tension the clamp sleeve by turning the Allen screw (F), until the sleeve fit smoothly into the bar end. If needed,
hold the conus-nut (H) with a multigrip pliers. The Alu-adapter (D) should lie flat on the bar end.
Warning: Make sure that the throttle tube don't get jammed and can still turn freely!
Adjust the mirror stem to the desired position and tighten the Allen screw (F).

Important notice:
- Adjust the mirror head to guarantee the best free view to the rear.
- Please pay attention that the mirror does not impact any parts (e.g. fuel tank) if turning your handle bar.
- Make sure that the throttle tube on the right side may always turn back freely! A jammed
throttle tube can cause bad accidents!
- Before each ride, make sure that all parts are fixed well.
- Damaged mirrors or parts must be replaced immediately.
- Clean your mirror only with soft cloth and only use suitable soft cleaner.
