The TripleTier
®
Flame Burner with InstaWok™ Ring is a
multifunction burner that provides the best simmering and the
maximum power all in the same burner.
The TripleTier
®
Flame Burner with InstaWok™ Ring is functioned
by a Dual Valve Control knob, which controls 2 separate burners.
See "Dual Valve TripleTier
®
Burner Control" in the "Cooktop
Controls" section.
The InstaWok™ Ring supports 12" to 14" (30.5 cm to 35.6 cm)
round bottom Wok pans. Use only the recommended size Wok
pans with the InstaWok™ Ring.
To Use the InstaWok™ Ring:
1. Make sure the control knob is in the OFF position.
2. Allow the grate to cool completely before handling.
3. Remove the InstaWok™ ring section from the grate and turn
it over so that the Wok supports are facing right-side up.
4. Place the Wok ring within the guides.
5. When finished using the InstaWok™ Ring and the entire grate
has cooled down completely, turn the Wok ring over to the
flat side for use with flat-bottom cookware.
Home Canning
When canning for long periods, alternate the use of surface
burners between batches. This allows time for the most recently
used areas to cool.
I
Center the canner on the grate.
I
Do not place canner on 2 surface burners at the same time.

IMPORTANT: Do not leave empty cookware on a hot surface
cooking area, element or surface burner.
Ideal cookware should have a flat bottom, straight sides and a
well-fitting lid, and the material should be of medium-to-heavy
thickness.
Rough finishes may scratch the cooktop or grates. Aluminum and
B
copper may be used as a core or base in cookware. However,
when used as a base they can leave permanent marks on the
cooktop or grates.
Cookware material is a factor in how quickly and evenly heat is
transferred, which affects cooking results. A nonstick finish has
the same characteristics as its base material. For example,
aluminum cookware with a nonstick finish will take on the
properties of aluminum.
Cookware with nonstick surfaces should not be used under the
broiler.
Use the following chart as a guide for cookware material
characteristics.
