Refilling the Water Reservoir

Caution: Before plugging in or unplugging Friji Fan, be sure hands and feet

are dry and you are standing on dry ground.

For easy refilling, take the entire appliance to a sink area. Be aware that there is water

in the sump, so do not tilt Friji Fan or the water in the sump will spill over.

When you remove the water reservoir, the area that is sitting in the sump will be wet.

Have a cloth handy to dry off any water drips.

1. Before refilling, make sure you have dry hands, feet, and are standing on

dry ground.

2. Unplug Friji Fan.

3. Remove the water reservoir. Dry off lid area to prevent drips.

4. Empty the water from the sump and dry off the appliance base.

5. Note: It is easiest to return Friji Fan to the room you have selected for

cooling before filling and replacing the water reservoir. Be sure to always

follow the guidelines for selecting a location on page 9, and place Friji Fan in

the chosen location.

6. Unscrew the cap on the water reservoir.

7. Fill water reservoir with tap water. If you live in an area where the tap water

is hard, distilled or softened water is recommended. Do not fill past the

translucent gray plastic you can see through. If you cannot see the water

line through the translucent plastic you have overfilled. Do not overfill.

8. Replace lid, and screw until securely in place.

9. Use the top handle to lift the water reservoir, and support the bottom of the

reservoir with the other hand.

10. Return water reservoir to Friji Fan, lid side down.

11. If you need to move Friji Fan with the water reservoir in place, use the base

handles and do not tilt. There is water in the sump and it will spill over.
