If you have not made or purchased a Y connector for your batteries, please do so at this point. I
personally use 2 6s 5000 25c Outrage Li-Po battery packs in series. The Y connector allows
user to run the 2 batteries in series to get maximum voltage. I've tested many power plants and this
setup was by far my favorite combination. This conversion kit is perfect for ultimate competition
in both 3D and FAI style flying. Some of the best pilots in the world have flown this setup and all
have been very pleased with its unmatched performance, agility and smoothness. Please refer to
your speed controller instruction manual for setup prior to flight. For those who used the Castle
Creations speed controller, it's best to purchase a USB programmer for easy programming. I run
my HV 110 in non-governor (fixed) heli mode at 84 percent straight across throttle curve in idle up
for optimum performance. I have tested different RPM's and 2230 head speed gave me the
performance I was looking for. I've been getting about a 5 minute flight time using this setup for
almost a year with several hundred very successful flights. The machine is more than capable of
handling this type of power.
