3.12 SECURiTY SETTinGS

Your default security code is 0000.

A. Password-Protect your Phone

1. From the Home screen, press the Main menu icon.

2. Press Settings.

3. Press Phone.

4. Slide your finger upwards along the screen and press Security.

5. Press Phone Lock. Now select one of the security options.

6. You will be prompted to enter your security code. The default security

code is 0000. enter these numbers and press OK. Your phone will

be locked. You will need to enter the security code every time your

phone is turned off and back on.

7. To return to the Home screen, press the END key.

b. Change your Lock Code

1. From the Home screen, press the Main menu icon.

2. Press Settings.

3. Press Phone.

4. Slide your finger upwards along the screen and press Security.

5. Press Change Codes. Press Security Code.

6. enter the default security code: 0000. Press OK.

7. enter your new security code and press OK. You will be prompted

to re-enter your new security code. Please take note of your security

code. You will need it every time your phone is turned off and back on.

8. To return to the Home screen, press the END key.

To access the card:

Locate the memory card

1. Power your phone OFF.

2. Remove the back cover by lifting it using the notch on the bottom

edge of the phone.

3. The memory card slot is located to the left of battery compartment.

Remove the card

1. Gently slide the memory card out. We recommend that you have

your phone turned OFF. If not, make sure that nothing is running

in connection with the memory card.

2. Replace the back cover.

Insert the card

1. Arrange the microSd card so that the gold bars on the card are

facing down and gently slide it into place.

2. Replace the back cover.

3. Power your phone ON.
