Switch off power to the machine.
2.
Remove the paper tray. If the tray is stuck, perform steps a-e below:
a. Push the tray back into the machine.
b. Turn the machine around and remove the Duplex (DX) Tray.
c. The paper in the tray should be visible through the opening where the DX Tray was
installed. Carefully lift the edge of the paper and then remove it through this opening.
d. Reinstall the DX Tray.
e. Turn the machine around and remove the paper tray.
3.
While holding the Document Cover closed, tilt the machine to lie on its back so that the front is on
top.
