• Is this product installed in the correct server blade slot location?

• Is the chassis main power on?

• Is the chassis power cable connected properly?

• Is there an outside power disruption, blackout, etc.?

■ The hard disk access LED is not turned on.

This product may fail. Contact your maintenance engineer.

■ The hard disk status LED lights up amber.

A hard disk unit error may be detected. Leave this product as is and contact your maintenance engineer.

■ An error message about this product is displayed in the server.

Although you can use this product within a scope which does not affect operation, leave this product as

is and contact your maintenance engineer to check the cause of the error message.

■ The disk is not recognized by the server.

Check the following. If you cannot solve the problem, leave this product as is and contact your

maintenance engineer.

• Is the SAS cable connected properly?

• Is the hard disk unit installed securely?
