EPLACING THE
RONT
A defective or improperly installed Front Side Lamp can cause the "Front
Side Optical Alarm" message to be displayed on the Operator Panel of
the scanner. Vertical lines or bad image quality on the front side scan can
also be caused by a defective Front Side Lamp.
•
Lift the Lever at the right to
open the Upper Transport
Unit.
•
Pull down on the Tab on the
right to open the Glass Sheet
Guide that covers the Front
Side Lamp.
•
Remove the two Lamp
Socket Covers by pulling
down on the tabs and then
toward the back of the
scanner.
